My only complaint is that it has been 'romanticised' by the voice of the author and therefore isn't entirely genuinely the memoirs of the survivor until you reach her notes that she took directly from him. Rubinstein’s history is also valuable because it comes to a life after the Holocaust. A in spite of everything-affirming, love-worn life, in which the Survivor tries to, the horrors of the past “releases so much”, means it at one point. Here is a man who has not ceased after the Nazi Horror, to love life, has never given up speaking.

Black River Technical College, in cooperation with the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, will host Holocaust survivor Rita Rubinstein for three presentations October 24-25. Rubinstein will be speaking at 9:30 a.m. both Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, and 7:00 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Consists of interviews with Holocaust survivors and concentration camp liberators conducted by United States Holocaust Memorial Museum Oral History Department volunteer staff. The interviewees, among them survivors from Hungary, Germany, Austria, France, Italy, and Poland, discuss their experiences of life before World War II, life in the ghettos, life in concentration camps, and life after Ms. Rubinstein completed a comprehensive 20-hour training that is required for all JSSA Hospice volunteers.
